This Specimen Book was designed as part of the Typography1 course. it based on the typeface, Univers. The book was meant to show the details of what makes this typeface unique. Univers is a Neo-Grotesque, sans-serif typeface that was designed by Adrian Frutiger in A Type Specimen book for Myriad Pro. The Myriad Pro typeface was released in , designed to be neutral and utilitarian font for Adobe. To contrast the intent of the type, I designed this type specimen book with simple typographic arrangements and vibrant colors to create interesting compositions and try to make the font seem "non-generic".
